Makan Project Management & Development (Makan PMD) is proud to announce a new strategic technology partnership with Trackhawk, an advanced GPS and asset tracking platform serving logistics, construction, and fleet management sectors globally.
Through this collaboration, Makan’s Digital Solutions division is leading the development of next-generation tools for real-time vehicle and asset tracking, bringing Makan’s precision and project discipline to the digital domain.
We are seeking a Junior Laravel Developer to join our remote team, helping to build and scale Trackhawk’s intelligent tracking platform , a system used by companies worldwide to monitor driver safety, prevent theft, and optimize operations.
Your Role:
You will work as part of a distributed team of developers, engineers, and product managers across MENA, Europe, and North America, contributing to backend systems that power a live global platform.
You will:
- Architect, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Laravel.
- Build intuitive admin dashboards and internal tools for platform management.
- Write clean, testable, and secure PHP code following PSR standards.
- Integrate with third-party systems like HubSpot, Stripe, and Chargebee.
- Diagnose and fix performance, scalability, and security issues.
- Collaborate with Node.js and Flutter developers to deliver unified product experiences.
What You Bring
- 2–3 years of professional PHP/Laravel experience.
- Deep understanding of Eloquent ORM, Queues, and Middleware.
- Familiarity with API development, webhooks, and authentication systems.
- Strong grasp of OOP and modern PHP design patterns.
- Experience in agile development environments (Jira, GitHub, etc.).
- Excellent command of English for written and verbal communication.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Node.js or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Flutter for cross-platform app collaboration.
- Understanding of CI/CD, AWS, or containerized deployment (Docker).
