Internship Overview
We are looking for a passionate and curious Python enthusiast to join our team as a Python Developer Intern. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to real-world projects at the exciting intersection of AI, healthcare, and cloud technologies. You will work alongside our experienced engineers and data scientists, gaining invaluable experience in building the backend systems that power our innovative health intelligence engine.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Python-based applications, scripts, and RESTful APIs.
- Help debug, test and improve existing codebases under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings to learn best practices in software development.
- Contribute to writing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Support the integration of various services and external APIs.
- Learn and apply concepts of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) in a practical setting.
What We're Looking For:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Familiarity with web frameworks like FastAPI or Django is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and version control with Git.
- Eagerness to learn about software testing, debugging and cloud technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
Nice-to-Have (But Not Required):
- An interest in Docker, Celery, or asynchronous task processing.
- Any prior experience with external API integrations (personal projects count!).
- A curiosity about AI/ML and its applications in healthcare.
