We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist (Payroll, Administration & Labor Law Focus) to join a dynamic HR team in Garching near Munich.
In this role, you’ll ensure smooth and compliant HR operations across the entire employee lifecycle from payroll and reporting to process optimization and travel coordination. You’ll combine analytical precision with hands-on execution, driving efficiency and structure in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and prepare accurate monthly payroll in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Maintain HR dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support data-driven decisions
- Coordinate travel logistics and administrative HR processes such as onboarding, contracts, and records management
- Serve as the main contact for authorities and external partners on HR and labor topics
- Continuously improve HR processes, documentation, and systems.
What you bring:
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations with a focus on payroll and administration
- Strong Excel and HR system skills (Personio experience a plus)
- Solid knowledge of German labor law, social security, and payroll tax
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
- Availability to work on-site in Garching (relocation support provided)
