Role Overview
Position: Engineering PhD – Contractor, Remote
Commitment: 10-20 hours per week, potential for increased hours and extension
Contribute subject matter expertise to a project involving frontier large language models. Craft high-quality, challenging problems with real-world applicability to inform AI innovation.

Craft, solve, and review challenging problems with real-world applicability.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to AI innovation.
Ensure the quality and applicability of crafted problems to inform the future of AI.

Requirements / Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
Masters or PhD in Engineering from a top US university
High attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent proficiency in English
Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI model training and evaluation
Familiarity with large language models
Engagement Details
Compensation: $65-75/hour
Contract Type: Hourly contractor
Schedule: 10-20 hours per week
