About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP SuccessFactors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, delivery quality, and stakeholder alignment while ensuring smooth transition from legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Project Management
- Coordinate with implementation partners to ensure scope, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and adhered to.
- Monitor partner performance against milestones, SLAs, and quality standards, escalating issues when necessary.
- Critically evaluate partner recommendations to balance best practices with organizational requirements.
2. Project Planning & Initiation
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
- Coordinate with SAP SuccessFactors consultants and internal teams.
3. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between implementation teams, business units, and external vendors.
- Conduct steering committee meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.
4. Team Coordination
- Lead cross-functional teams across HR, IT, Finance, and external consultants.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accountability across all workstreams.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles to maintain project momentum.
5. Implementation Oversight
- Oversee configuration, data migration, system integration, and testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy regulations, and SAP best practices.
- Track project milestones and adjust plans as necessary.
6. Risk & Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and create effective mitigation strategies.
- Track and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns.
7. Change Management & Training
- Collaborate with HR and Change Management teams to develop communication and training materials.
- Support end-user training and adoption programs.
- Ensure smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP SuccessFactors.
8. Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support
- Coordinate cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback after launch.
- Ensure proper documentation and handover to support teams.
Requirements :
Technical Competencies
- PMP certification and proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools.
- Proven experience in HR system implementations; SAP SuccessFactors experience is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of integrating SAP SuccessFactors with SAP ECC / S4HANA, payroll systems, and other HR technologies.
- Understanding of HRIS data migration, mapping, cleansing, and validation processes.
