Job Description
We have a 6 month contract to hire for a a hands-on Lead QA Automation Engineer (SDET) with 5–7 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. They bring strong technical expertise in Cypress, Mocha, Python, Go, and AWS, with additional proficiency in Snowflake, MongoDB, SQL, and GitLab. This individual is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of performing limited manual testing when needed. They thrive in Agile/Scrum environments, ensure high standards of code quality, and collaborate effectively within enterprise-level teams to drive reliable and scalable automation solutions.
100% Remote.
MUST HAVES:

About this Role:
- Hand-down SDET who focus on building and maintaining automated test frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring code quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Please note this position is titled as a lead, but we need a hands-down SDET.
- Utilizing the following automation tools: Mocha, Cypress etc.
- Be comfortable with and have knowledge in programming languages like Python & Go
- Work in AWS & Gitlab
- Remote opportunity in an enterprise level environment supporting the test automation for the NextGen team with some manual testing if needed.
