Sr. Network Administrator

As the Senior Network Administrator your will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure across multiple sites. You will oversee network design and performance, manage virtualized systems, and ensure the reliability of business-critical applications and services. This senior-level role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can balance strategic planning with hands-on technical execution to ensure stability, scalability, and security of the company’s IT operations. You will primarily be responsible for the Western region but will be expected to cover calls from any of the Windsor America entities. Occasional travel. This is not just a sit at a desk job.

• Network Management
• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco Meraki network infrastructure, including SD-WAN firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
• Implement and manage network security policies, ensuring compliance with best practices and company standards.
• Install, manage, and maintain surveillance camera systems for physical site security.
• Monitor network performance and availability using proactive tools to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize bandwidth utilization across multiple locations.

• Virtualization & Systems Administration
• Create, manage, and maintain virtual machines (VMs) supporting various business operations.
• Oversee VMware environments, ensuring efficient resource allocation and system health.
• Manage, maintain, and verify backups for disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Conduct regular backup integrity checks and recovery simulations to validate data reliability.
• Ensure system patches, updates, and configurations align with security and performance standards.

• Office 365 & Azure Administration
• Administer Office 365 and Azure Active Directory environments, including user accounts, groups, and licensing.
• Manage Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and related cloud integrations.
• Ensure seamless accessibility, synchronization, and data protection across all cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with the IT security team to implement multi-factor authentication and data loss prevention policies.

• User Support & Endpoint Management
• Deploy, configure, and maintain user workstations, laptops, and peripherals.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support, resolving complex issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
• Support user onboarding/offboarding processes, ensuring correct access provisioning and security compliance.

• Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in network administration or a related role.
• Proven experience with Cisco Meraki, VMware/Hyper-V, and Office 365/Azure administration.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and security best practices.
• Expertise in backup management and disaster recovery planning.

• Preferred:
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or VMware VCP.
• Experience with multi-site environments and surveillance systems integration.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

This is a hybrid position that is primarily remote, but requires the employee to reside in the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area. Occasional on-site presence at our Phoenix facility is required for team meetings, project milestones, and other business needs. Relocation package will be offered to the right candidate.
