The company:
A growing fintech and blockchain payments company building secure and scalable solutions for global digital transactions. With a distributed team across Europe and Asia, they’re uniting traditional finance and crypto to simplify cross-border payments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a company-wide cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
- Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications.
- Establish security policies, compliance frameworks, and best practices.
- Implement threat detection, response, and risk management processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Ensure compliance with global standards such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
- Secure blockchain-based systems and protect against smart contract and Web3 security risks.
Job requirements:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, ideally within fintech, payments, or blockchain.
- Strong understanding of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools.
- Knowledge of IAM, encryption, and zero-trust architecture.
- Bonus: DevSecOps practices, Kubernetes security, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
