Since 1972, Safer Foundation’s mission has focused on supporting, through a full spectrum of services, the efforts of people with criminal records to become employed, law-abiding members of the community and as a result, reduce recidivism. Safer provides services throughout the state of Illinois and in Iowa. Not only do we get our clients ready for the workplace, Safer also works with employers to place clients in jobs that will help them become self-sufficient. As an intermediary between employer and employee, we offer a significant incentive to hire from our pool of candidates.
