Shane qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG Dublin in 2001. He lived and worked in Australia from 2003 to 2008. During his first year there he was employed as an accountant with Macquarie Investment Bank and Citibank. He then spent four years working in financial recruitment, where he quickly established himself as the go to person for Irish accountants looking for work in Sydney.
