About the RoleWe are looking for a Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our development team. This role is primarily focused on ensuring the accuracy and quality of content migration when we transition client websites from older platforms to new ones built on our SaaS platform. The QA Specialist will also be responsible for visual and functional regression testing on our SaaS platform to ensure consistency, usability, and stability. This is an entry-level position, and prior experience is not required. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and an interest in web technologies. This role has the potential for growth into a more advanced QA position, with opportunities to explore test automation, QA process management, and deeper technical aspects of software quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Migration
- QA Review migrated content for accuracy, completeness, and formatting consistency.
- Compare old and new websites to ensure no content is missing or improperly formatted.
- Verify that links, images, and media assets are correctly transferred and functional.
Visual and Functional Regression Testing
- Perform manual QA checks to ensure new changes or updates do not negatively impact the platform.
- Identify and document visual discrepancies, UI/UX inconsistencies, and broken functionality.
- Test across multiple browsers, devices, and screen sizes to ensure a seamless experience.
Bug Reporting & Communication
- Clearly document issues, including reproduction steps, screenshots, and expected vs. actual results.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and verify fixes.
- Maintain an organized backlog of issues, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
QA Best Practices & Process Improvement
- Follow established QA checklists and workflows to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Work with the team to refine and improve testing processes.
- Be open to learning and adopting new QA tools and methodologies over time.
Required Skills & Attributes- Meticulous Attention to Detail - Ability to spot even the smallest inconsistencies in content, design, and functionality.
- Willingness to Perform Repetitive Tasks – Ability to perform manual testing consistently and methodically without skipping steps.
- Strong Communication Skills – Ability to clearly articulate issues and collaborate effectively with developers and project managers.
- Team Player – Works well with developers, designers, and other team members to achieve high-quality results.
- Interest in Web Technologies – Basic familiarity with how websites work, including HTML structure, page layouts, and web interactions.
- Desire to Learn & Grow – A proactive mindset with an openness to learning about QA tools, automation, and best practices over time.
Not Required But Helpful in the Role- Experience or familiarity with browser developer tools (Chrome DevTools, Firefox Inspector, etc.).
- Comfortable with or willing to learn QA tools (e.g., test management software, bug tracking tools).
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to identify front-end issues.
- Understanding of accessibility testing and SEO basics.
- Interest in learning automation testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) in the future.
Job SettingThis is a full-time, remote position that reports to the Director of Website Development. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such a computer and related technology. Candidates must have internet access with enough speed to perform essential duties.

Pay & BenefitsThe compensation for this role is $1,000/month ($12,000 annually).
