Job Summary

EHN Canada is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This position is designed to leverage data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML), including Large Language Models (LLMs), to improve and personalize the client experience, develop predictive models for treatment outcomes, and implement/monitor models.

This is a full-time temporary 6 month year contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Predictive Modeling and Analytics: Develop, deploy, and continue to refine advanced predictive models to forecast treatment outcomes, identify risk factors, and personalize treatment plans. Utilize AI, ML, and LLM techniques to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of predictions and to better understand client needs and feedback.
  • AI, ML, and LLM Exploration: Investigate and apply AI, ML, and LLM technologies to improve various aspects of the client journey, from initial assessment through treatment and post-treatment support. Aim to enhance client engagement, satisfaction, and overall outcomes through innovative technology solutions.
  • Ongoing monitoring and maintenance of existing EHN codified models: Collaborate with and assist in the ongoing monitoring and optimization of existing EHN models as needed.
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to engage in MLOps thereby ensuring effective deployment, monitoring, and ongoing refinement of operational ML/AI models.
  • Insights and Reporting: Generate actionable insights through data analysis, presenting findings to stakeholders to inform tactical and strategic decision making.

Qualifications

  • Master’s in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in predictive modeling, AI, ML, and LLM projects, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, and familiarity with AI/ML/LLM frameworks.
  • Experience with MLOps framework in ensuring deployment, ongoing monitoring, and optimization of ML/AI models.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
  • A passion for leveraging technology to improve customer experience, and mental health and addiction treatment outcomes.
