WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
In our team you will
lead cloud architecture design and engineering activities, automation and DevOps, and working with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Kubernetes networking, and associated persistency systems.
This role involves leading activities and teams working on cloud-native applications, optimizing containerized workloads, and ensuring scalability and reliability in a distributed environment.
You will be an expert and technical leader working on:
- Design, development, and maintenance of systems running on Kubernetes
- Optimize Kubernetes networking.
- Management and configuration of filesystems for Kubernetes (e.g., persistent volumes, storage classes).
- Troubleshooting and optimization of containerized workloads for performance and reliability.
- Implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments.
- Automation of monitoring, logging, and security enforcement in cloud environments.
- Improvement of disaster recovery and high availability strategies.
- Leading and mentoring a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance and technical oversight.
- Collaborating with software development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
- Establishing best practices for cloud governance, security, and automation.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for a senior engineer with more than 10 years of experience in cloud system engineering or cloud architecture. Main requirements are:
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go) for automation.
- Solid knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs. Soft Skills & Leadership
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
We will also value previous experience on:
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (certifications are a plus)
- C/C++
- Agile Methodologies/SAFe
- Satellite Navigation/PNT
