Who are we?

Free Grape Society is an international wine community connecting wineries, restaurants, and wine experts across Europe. Our smart tech platform enables small and medium-sized wineries to promote their high-quality wines to restaurants seeking a premium wine experience.

By digitizing and automating the purchasing process, we empower restaurants to discover, evaluate, and buy exceptional wines from boutique European wineries directly. Our goal is to add value by fostering a closer connection between the wine consumed and its origin.

We are a Sweden based wine+tech startup company, join our exciting journey and dedicated team. We have team members across many countries and team members in South Africa, our CTO/CPO also has South African roots.

Are you a talented UI Designer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces? Do you also have a solid understanding of UX principles and enjoy crafting seamless user experiences? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role

We’re looking for a UI-focused designer with strong UX skills to join our team and help shape the look and feel of our digital products. As part of our fully remote team, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design engaging, high-quality user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Design clean, modern, and visually appealing UI components and layouts.
• Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products.
• Work closely with product managers and developers to bring designs to life.
• Conduct UX research and user testing to validate design decisions.
• Translate user needs and business goals into intuitive digital experiences.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong UI design skills with a portfolio showcasing pixel-perfect designs.
• Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
• Understanding of UX principles and the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
• A keen eye for typography, color theory, and layout composition.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote environment.
• Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS is a plus but not required.
